We are committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who use our Platform in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

We collect the following personal information depending on how you use the Platform:

From customers (builders and project managers)

• Name, company name, email address, phone number
• ABN (optional)
• Job details: postcode, job date, pour volume, pump type, site notes
• Booking history and communications

From operators

• Business name, ABN, contact name, email address, phone number
• Business address, service regions, pump types
• Profile photos, bio, and fleet information
• Membership tier, billing history, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)
• Lead and job history, response rates, and reviews received

From suppliers

• Business name, ABN, contact name, email address, phone number
• Business address, categories, service description
• Profile photos and website URL

From all website visitors

• IP address, browser type, device type
• Pages visited, time on site, referral source (via analytics tools)
• Cookie data (see Cookie Policy)

We collect personal information:

• Directly from you when you register, complete a form, make a booking, or contact us
• From third parties such as the Australian Business Register (for ABN verification)
• Automatically through cookies and analytics tools when you use the Platform
• From publicly available sources when we create unclaimed operator listings (business name, location, and services only — from Google Maps, business websites, and social media)

We collect personal information for the following purposes:

• To operate the Platform and match customers with operators
• To verify operator and supplier ABNs and identity
• To send job leads, booking confirmations, and notifications
• To process membership payments (via Stripe)
• To improve the Platform and understand usage patterns
• To communicate updates, newsletters, and promotions (with your consent)
• To comply with our legal obligations
• To investigate and resolve disputes

We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected. We disclose personal information:

• To operators: when a customer makes a booking, the operator receives the customer's name, phone number, job address, and job details
• To customers: when an operator accepts a booking, the customer receives the operator's business name and contact details
• To Stripe: for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to information processed by Stripe.
• To analytics providers: anonymised, aggregated data only
• To law enforcement or regulatory bodies: where required by law

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may create listings for concrete pump operators using publicly available information (business name, location, pump types) sourced from Google Maps, business websites, and social media. These listings:

• Contain only publicly available information
• Are clearly marked as "unverified" until the operator claims them
• Can be removed immediately upon written request to privacy@aussieconcretepumpers.com.au
• Do not include private contact details in the public-facing profile

If you are an operator and wish to have your listing removed, contact us at privacy@aussieconcretepumpers.com.au and we will remove it within 24 hours.

Personal information is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) region. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including:

• Encrypted data storage and transmission (TLS/SSL)
• Role-based access controls
• Regular security reviews

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after account closure, or as required by law.

Some of our service providers (including Stripe, Supabase, and email providers) may store or process data outside Australia. Where personal information is disclosed to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with the APPs.

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request corrections to inaccurate or outdated information. To make a request, contact us at privacy@aussieconcretepumpers.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to affected individuals, we will notify those individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
