Block Fill Concrete Pumping — Australia-Wide

Small-line block fill pumping for masonry walls, cores and bond beams. Fast, clean, no wheelbarrowing — booked through one network, every state.

Overview

What is Block Fill Pumping?

Block fill is the small-line concrete pumping used to fill the cores of reinforced masonry walls. A small-line trailer or truck-mounted pump pushes 10mm grout-mix concrete through 50mm or 65mm rubber hose directly into the block cores around steel reinforcement. Done right, block fill consolidates evenly without voids, locks the reinforcement in place and produces a structural wall. Aussie Concrete Pumpers supplies block-fill–rated pumps and operators experienced at maintaining flow without segregating the mix.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What mix do I order for block fill?

A specified grout-mix concrete — usually 10mm aggregate, 20–25 MPa, high slump (180–220mm). Your batching plant can supply 'block fill' or 'core fill' mix on request.

Can a block-fill pump handle a slab pour too?

Small-line pumps can pour small slabs and footings, but for slabs over 8m³ a standard line or boom pump is faster and more cost-effective.

How long does a typical block-fill pour take?

Most residential block-fill jobs run 1–3 hours. Commercial CMU walls can run a full day depending on wall length and lift heights.

Booked a 42m boom pump in Sydney with one phone call. Operator was on site early, set up clean and the pour went perfectly. This is how procurement should work.
